How do affiliate and other web sites display these feeds
automatically on their site in HTML?
A lot of RSS feed converters publish your feed on the host site using
JAVA, this severely reduces the benefit for both parties:
For the host/affiliate site - the daily changing content is invisible to
search engines and therefore they don’t benefit from increased visits by
robots and higher rankings (although their readers will still be able to
read the content and click on the links)
For your RSS feed - the html link that is part of the feed is invisible
to the search engine and you wont benefit from the increased number of
links which will encourage the search engines to increase the importance
with which it holds your site.
The best solution is to encourage affiliates and syndicating sites to
publish your RSS feed in HTML and not Java. We recommend using CaRP:

a free service which requires the affiliate
site to support .php but is very easy to install and use by even the
