How do I read the blog for personal use?

You need an RSS Reader, this can automatically take the XML feed and place it in your browser, e mail client or even your PDA or mobile. Here is a list of possible RSS readers.

How do I display the feeds automatically on my site as HTML?

A lot of RSS feed converters publish your feed on the host site using JAVA, this severely reduces the benefit for you - the html link that is part of the feed is invisible to a search engine (it cant read java!) and so it won't know that your site has daily changing content and thus it wont increase the number of times it visits and indexes the page and nor will it increase your page ranking.

The best solution is to publish your RSS feed in HTML and not Java. We recommend using CaRP: http://www.geckotribe.com/rss/carp/  a free service which requires your site to support .php but is very easy to install and use by even the most novice web master.

What if I cant install CaRP?

They offer a very efficient and cheap ($30) service whereby they will install the software for you. I used it once and we can't recommend it any higher.

What will it look like? the feed below is exactly what a CaRP generated feed of the main better sports blog site will look like:
